Minister for Integration Birthe Rønn Hornbech denies having committed a breach-of-agreement by slicing the period of residence in Denmark under the Green Card scheme in half.

Minister for Integration Birthe Rønn Hornbech denies having committed a breach-of-agreement by slicing the period of residence in Denmark under the Green Card scheme in half – from three years to 18 months.

– Last winter, I met with the parties and explained the extent to which the scheme was being abused, and the conclusion was that we had to stop the abuse, she says.

But Det Radikale Venstre will not stand for tightening of the Green Card scheme rules.

– The agreement clearly states that the Green Card scheme runs for three years, and we will not change that, says spokesman on labour market affairs Morten Østergaard.

I have been given a 18 month visa, does it mean that I can get it changed to 3 years, since the changes have been dumped.

This is all so confusing. even the people at Danish embassy don’t know what’s going on here.

  2. Dear Check your passport validity it may be!!!!!
