This is Khalid Bin Musa (Noman).Today I went to the Danish Immigration regarding information for Green Card visa extension. But I feel like they are giving confusing information from “Information Desk” and “No 9 Desk”. Information Desk saying that Green Card visa will extend up to 1 year next and the No 9 Desk saying that the Visa won’t renew if the green card holder don’t have work related to the subject studied. And minimum salary 31500dkk….To renew wife’s visa have to show the Bank statement 127000+dkk.Dose not matter if Wife work or not.
After that I called the Immigration call centre (+45 35 30 84 90)…..They are saying the same as it is on website……”You can be granted a first-time residence permit under the greencard scheme for up to 3 years. Before the end of this period, you can apply for an extension of up to 1 year. Before the end of this period, you can apply for an extension of up to four years.” I do have confusion regarding extension visa…Website saying “Your residence permit can be extended if you have worked for the past 12 months for a minimum of ten hours per week. “ But Application form has a condition that you have to have permanent position at work……I think the people are going to extend their visa near soon….All should enquire in Immigration office….Otherwise It could creat a difficult problem for us.
I hope these information could help the people who are going for visa extension.

Hej Musa, you mentioned the same as there is alot confusion about GC extension. If they requirment for the GC visa, i.e need 31500 dkk then why not apply directly in a positive list, bcause if you have such job contract with such good salary then there is no need to extend, just go and apply for visa, they will give you and there should be no need of GC extension.

i just want someone help me please. i applied for GC last year august. this month i got the decision of my application. which refused me. now i want to appeal , should i? i had a uk based one year MSC in accounts and MBA(2 years) from Pakistan. they consider me just bachelor and have not given me any positive list bonus point. they have not even gave me enough points for adaptability and not even points for the work experience.i had worked legally two years in uk.they suppose to give me 10 points for that but they gave me just 5 points. i need to talk some one who really know how to tackle that situation. i just need 5 points then it will be hundred.

I am writing to consult with you regarding my application under the greencard scheme for Denmark.
I have send my application on 20th December 2012 and I recieved a rejection letter by the Danish immigration office. Apparently the English language letter which was provided by previous employer attesting that I used English at job was not acceptable by them because it was a part-time work .
Since I myself was unsure about the validity of this letter, I have consulted with the consolate of Denmark at Milan, where I have registered my documents and they said that this would be an acceptable document. They ensured me that my application will not be rejected and the immigration office find that it is not enough, may ask additional documents in case of necessity .
By two weeks, my IELTS score will be ready. But I am not sure if I can appeal and explain it all, providing also a language certificate or I have to restart from the first ! ?
what would be the most convenient way to solve this problem ?

Hi Norah,
If you have studied in a university for one year where medium of instruction was English you can request them to give you a letter. This will be enough and you can give this with you appeal to the decision. If you get IELTS band 6 then it will also be the same and you can use it for appeal.

1. Education (UK-1yr-MBA, 1yr UK Business diploma, 1 yr Bangladeshi MBA, 4yr Bangladeshi BBA): 50
2. Age: 15
3. Positive list: 0 (though I have positive listed study and work)
4. Language: 20
5. Adaptability: 05 (though I was a legal residence in UK 4yr)
6. Work exp.: 0 (though I have listed 4yr bangladeshi work experience & 3 yr UK work exp.)

The experience letter is fine as long as it clearly states the designation. You should check the designation on positive list and it will give you the points if you have same designation on your experience letter.

The appeal authority is different than the authority which is responsible to issue the visa. It depends on each case but it should not take long now to issue the visa for you.

I am a citizen of Nepal. I applied for the Green Card Scheme on the mid(May-June) of 2012 and got interviewed in the Embassy of Denmark, Nepal on the 19th of October 2012 and by the starting of 2013 I received a refusal letter Stating that I am unable to receive 100 points required for the approval of the Green card. I was surprised and astonished nevertheless I decided to appeal as I was a genuine candidate for the green card. Finally I appealed for the case. And I was happy that I received a letter from the Immigration Appeals Board on January 2014 stating that the Immigration appeals board has reverted the case decision and I am eligible to obtain 100 points. They have returned the case to the Danish Agency for Labor Retention and International Recruitment for further action.
Since January 2014 I haven’t received any news from the Danish Agency for Labor Retention and International Recruitment . I am really very worried that I have already spent two and half years for this processing of green card and I am still waiting for the result.
Can u tell me how long does it usually take after i get the letter from the danish immigration or anything related to this matter

My GC application has been turned down and now I am thinking to go for appeal. Therefore I have emailed the Danish Embassy in Islamabad and they told me that I have to pay Rs 15,600 if I would like to submit my appeal in the embassy and if I go for direct appeal to the Danish Agency for Labour Retention and International Recruitment then Its Free of Cost. They also told me that I can use my old Case Order ID. Kindly please let me know whether its true or not? Have you created new Case Order ID

I am Azhar from Islamabad. I have a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Software Engineering with almost 4 years of experience. I am about to apply for GC but have few questions.
1. I did my Master’s in part-time i.e. in parallel with job. Will my experience during that period be counted?? Although it was full-time paid job but i have heard that only post-qualification experience is counted.
2. I do not have sufficient funds to show in my bank account. What if i borrow the funds from a relative and debit it after getting the statement??
How is bank statement verified?? Any ideas?? And will it be considered as fake if it does not contain sufficient funds at the time of verification??
3. Job title “Software Engineer” is mentioned in my experience letter which is not explicitly mentioned on “Positive List” but my Job Duties are of “Programmer” which is on Positive List. How can i prove that my field is on positive list keeping in mind that my employer will not change the designation mentioned on letter.

Further, I want to know what will be next and when? I mean any conformation email about my documents sent to Denmark from Islamabad Embassy etc.

I am a citizen of Nepal. I applied for the Green Card Scheme on the mid(May-June) of 2012 and got interviewed in the Embassy of Denmark, Nepal on the 19th of October 2012 and by the starting of 2013 I received a refusal letter Stating that I am unable to receive 100 points required for the approval of the Green card. I was surprised and astonished nevertheless I decided to appeal as I was a genuine candidate for the green card. Finally I appealed for the case. And I was happy that I received a letter from the Immigration Appeals Board on January 2014 stating that the Immigration appeals board has reverted the case decision and I am eligible to obtain 100 points. They have returned the case to the Danish Agency for Labour Retention and International Recruitment for further action.
Since January 2014 I haven’t received any news from the Danish Agency for Labour Retention and International Recruitment . I am really very worried that I have already spent two and half years for this processing of green card and I am still waiting for the result.
Can anyone tell me how long does it usually take after i get the letter from the danish immigration or anything related to this matter

I applied for Denish Green Card from India in April 2013. They refused my visa in september 2013 by giving 95 points.
After that I filed an appeal in October 2013 and got positive reply in January 2014 by asking my bank account to get refund. They told me that my appeal is upheld so they will refund appeal’s money. As I know if they refund your appeal’s money then you got approval from them.
They refunded DKK 780 into my account in March 2014 but still they haven’t sent me confirmation letter so I can print that letter and go for stamping.
Would you please let me know why they are taking ages ?
As I know appeal takes 7 months but here they are taking more than a year. Everything is in my favor but they are not sending me confirmation letter.
I phoned Labour Retention and they told me they have sent my all documents to third party (International Certificate Check up). That agency will take couple of months. After getting their review they will send me confirmation letter.
Here One agency approved my appeal then they have sent my documents to another agency to send me confirmation letter but here this another agency sent my documents. This procedure is taking ages.
I am just getting tired of this long procedure. Anobody knows how long time they take to send me confirmation letter for stamping, after refunded appeal’s money.
Please let me know if you have any idea.

Hi, my name is Rohith .i am new to Denmark greencard scheme.I have some doubt in work experience.Actually i completed my Btech degree in electronics and communication engineering on 2010 and after that i worked 2 years as a software engineer in an IT company.After that i done my masters in Computer Networking from University of Bedfordshire,United Kingdom and i finished on march 2015.when i enquired about greencard from an agency they told me you need atleast 1 year experience after your masters degree.But when i call other agency they told me your 2 years experience before masters is ok.And another agency peoples told me there is no need of experience and even fresheres can also apply.When i check in denmark greencard website it shows like “Your work experience need to be with in the past 5 years in a field where Denmark is presently experiencing a shortage of qualified skilled professionals.”Actually i am confused.Can any one please help me in this issue will be more helpful.

I am planning to apply for Danish Greencard and regarding the 100 points, I get almost the maximum in each category. However, I am not sure about one thing -> the financial statement. It says that “you need to provide proof that you can support yourself for a full year in Denmark, so you need to have at the time of your application 130 188 DKK in your account.” My questions are:
1. If I don’t that amount of money in my bank account, is there a chance for me to win the greencard if I fulfill all 100 points (education, language, adaptability etc)?
2. Can I provide other proof of financial support for e.g. my parents statement that they will provide the financial support for me, together with their bank statement?
I would really appreciate if someone can give me more information on these two question.

I am from Nepal. I had applied for Denmark Green Card on this March 2015, then the embassy request to support an evidence about to make prove my Master Degree is Valid and approval by UGC India. As about talking myself, I did MBA in Banking & Insurance under Distance Mode affiliated by Vinayaka Mission University, however, i did regular class here in Nepal at KFA Business School. This college conduct this courses after taking License from Ministry of Education and Government of Nepal along with TU (Major University of Nepal) equivalence. Similarly, VMU also provide documents as supportive about the DEC was operated under UGC ACT along with government authority. Accordingly, i had submitted all documents at Denish Embassy to Kathmandu. At this August 14th, the Embassy says an Refugal of my Application only due to because of in valid master Degree. I got 80 point already (without MBA point), so can you please suggest me “how can i able to make an effective appeal?” As i am very much unknown of this situation. Please help me !!!!

My elder brother settled in Finland and I have applied Finland tourist visa in April 2015 but its rejected reason is ” Your intention to leave the territory of the members States before the expiry of the visa could not be ascertained”.
I have already visited Finland two times earlier on tourist visa and left the country before visa got expired.

Can some one tell me how many points I can get ?
In addition to this I want to know that If I have fixed deposit equivalent to required amount of fund and give will give me letter about that these are readily convertible into cash. Is that okay ?
Further more if anyone can tell me about how can I get declaration letter from my university which should be sealed and signed by highest authority from university about authenticity of degree. ACCA will provide me but issue is with my M.Sc and Punjab University Degree because the highest person the consider is controller examiner?
Please any help me in this regard.

Dont get fooled by agencies, if you can’t show Danish Govt that you can pay taxes and have enough salary, your permit will be revoked (any time after you have been granted), stay strong, stay safe.
Hi I am a Nepalese guy, recently received Danish Greencard. I am bit apprehensive about moving to denmark since I am not getting any job offers online. I can see loads of IT job vacancies on Danish websites and hence applied for them but sadly, none of them replied me back positively. My question is if you dont want any english speaking foreigner as your employee, why would your govt. invite application from qualified foreigners on green card scheme ? Absolute disgrace !!

Hello. My application for greencard rejected due to not giving bonus points.Denmark Higher Education Authority consider my degree equilvent to denmark graduation+1 year study at master level in business administration and economics. Yet then don’t issue me bonus points under job title”Business controller” by stating you degree APPARENTLY not matching with job title mentioned in positive list. I go for appeal and not it is more than 7 months but they didn’t yet make any decision regarding my appeal. Would someone share his views about succession of my appeal and how much time they would more take in deciding the decsion
